Always A Daughter

Daniel thought his mother was crazy. She had told him of a ridiculous family curse; one that would befall him on his 18th birthday.
Earlier that day she sat him down on the couch and explained:
“Every mother in my family line has always had at least one daughter,” she told him.
“Uh, yeah,” Daniel said. “You had Janet after me, Mom.”
“Yes,” she looked away. “But every mother always has a daughter FIRST.”
“Any boy born first in our family changes sex on their 18th birthday. We don’t know what causes it and no doctor can explain but it’s going to happen to you, Daniel,” she wiped a tear away.
“Don’t worry, Daniel. You’re going to be fine. Your Aunt Leslie went through the same thing,” she managed to break the tension with a nervous chuckle. “Why do you think you got along so well?”
Daniel stormed off to his room. What the hell was Mom talking about?
“Daniel, please,” she yelled after him. “You can’t stop this.”
In his room, Daniel sulked while he lifted his weights.
“What the hell, Mom? I don’t need your crazy bullshit before my birthday.”
He grunted with every rep admiring the awesome muscle-bound arms he worked so hard for.
“What’s gonna happen? I’m gonna change the moment the clock rolls over,” he scoffed while looking at his buff reflection in the tall mirror. “Yeah, right.”
The digital clock on his bed stand hit midnight.
“35… 36… 37…,” Daniel counted his arm curls at a steady pace but quickly started to slow. Strangely, the dumbbell felt much heavier.
“Fff…fff… fourty! Fuck! What the hell,” his whole arm shook as he finished early.
“I don’t get like that until fifty,” Daniel rubbed his aching muscle. He must have hurt himself. It didn’t feel right. Too soft.
Switching to his other hand was difficult. Why did this weight feel so heavy? Did he add on to the barbell without remembering?
He looked at his body reflection in the mirror again and cringed.
“What. The. Fuck,” Daniel shouted.
Daniel's large muscles were shrinking! His big body was deflating, looking like he was going through a time lapse crash diet on fast forward. Within a minute, he was looking more like he did before his two year long weight training: an absolute shrimp. He stared, bewildered at his super thin, lanky form. He looked even skinnier than he did in Freshman year. There was barely a sign of definition or bulging muscles anywhere.
He wasn’t just losing muscle. He was losing size. He felt his short cuffs move past his knees and witnessed his large hairy feet shrinking, pulling back against his size 12 flip flops. The room started to look different as he diminished in height.
Now, the weight wasn’t just too heavy, it was impossible to hold on to. His thin shaking arm went slack and the large dumbbell slipped out of his shrinking palm, crashing to the carpeted floor.
Daniel looked at the mirror and barely recognized the panicked androgynous reflection staring back. A cuter fresher face, devoid of his usual stubble began to take shape. Daniel’s jaw line smoothed as his features became more rounded and soft. Lips plumped and eyes grew, turning crystal blue. Blonde hair poured out the top of his skull like waves past his slender shoulders forming a glorious golden mane.
Daniel made an audible girly sounding, “Oh my!” as his nipples and areolas grew in size. He covered them up but grazing them with his slender fingers sent sparks of pleasures throughout his body.
Touching his thickening nipples was like an ON switch for the rest of his body. The transformation went into overdrive.
His waist pinched in, hips flared out and his ass swelled and widened into a plump heart shape.
His penis shrank, pulled back into his body and left a tight wet vagina.
He felt a moment of weightlessness as he quickly shrank a few more inches.
Daniel tried in vain to push his growing breasts back into his chest but with every push, more flesh swelled around his painted fingers. They soon overflowed in his smaller hands, the soft perky tits too large to hide.
A rapid knocking on his door made Daniel jump.
“Eep!”
“I heard a crash, Daniel,” his mother said from the other side of the door. “I know what’s happening. Please come out and talk to me.”
Daniel knew that his mom wasn’t crazy and sooner or later he would have to meet her as a new daughter.
